1500 Watts 2-Wire Submersible Deep Well Solar / AC Pump  (4THSG27-1500)

This solar pump is rated 1500W(2HP). It is recommended to use 1.5 x 1500W = 2250 Watts solar panel to operate it. However, it works with wide range of power, as low as 800W for a shallower well or up to its maximum power of 2450W(3HP) for a 300 foot deep well. It is pre-set internally to draw up to 2450W power at the max. Therefore, if you have a much larger solar panel array, as long as the voltage is not exceeds the max of 380Voc, this pump can be directly connecting to the array, and the pump will only draw up to the preset max power of 2450W and will not be over powered. When using AC 240V power, the pump will work up to the preset max power of 2450W(3HP) depending on the working flow and head.

This solar pump can be operated with 6 to 8 same or same rated solar panels in series connection to form an array. Each array should includes the same panels of 280W to 500W (not supplied in this kit). Do not mix different rating panels in the array, the single panel's Voc x numbers of solar panel must not exceed 380V. 

This solar pump is designed for up to 260 feet head usage. The maximum cut off head is 320ft.
