230V 2-Wire Stainless Steel
Tuhorse 2-Wire pumps are made of stainless steel material for its impellers, pump body, motor enclosure, and shaft. The motor is 230V single phase.
2-wire pumps have two hot wires and a ground wire for total of three wires. Because the motor only requires two wires for carrying electricity to energize the motor, it is called a two wire pump. The ground wire is for safety which is enforced by National Electrical Code.
2-Wire pumps require NO control box because the starting device is built-in the motor. 2-wire pumps has advantages such as simplifying the installation process, saving money for the pump wire, but is usually limited to making smaller horse power - 1.5HP or smaller.
